Cluster of Excellence Unifying Concepts in Catalysis (UniCat)

To preserve the environment and to conserve energy, that is what
society expects of modern chemistry. Thereby catalysts assume the key
position of this research, because they allow for precise execution of
chemical reactions with the smallest possible expenditure of energy
and supplies.

With the project "Berlin Mathematical School" the three Berlin
universities join the competition among schools of excellence:
Mathematics students from around the world should take up graduate
studies in Berlin. They will find a graduate program which uses the
full, combined potential of the internationally renowned mathematical
institutions of Berlin.
