Studying Successfully

Every freshman immediately notices how much more challenging university studies are compared with high school. That’s why it is better for you to learn how to work in an effective an scientific manner as early as possible.

The TU Berlin provides special support and assistance for students with handicaps and chronic diseases.

It isn’t easy to study and to raise kids at the same time. This is why the TU Berlin offers various kinds of assistance for students with children.

Financing your Study Expenses

You can’t study without money – for example in order to pay for the “semester ticket” for public transportation, registration fees, living costs and rent. It is thus important to give some consideration to the question of how you’re going to pay for your university studies. Here we provide information of different ways of financing your studies.

Getting Involved

At the TU Berlin it’s not all about studying, it’s also about getting involved in your community: A number of student-run groups participate in the academic self-management process and in the individual Faculties; these groups offer services to their fellow students so that all student voices can be heard: here are a few examples.
