Doctoral Programs at the TU Berlin
Apart from the "traditional" model of individual supervision the TU Berlin offers a growing number of doctoral programs offering joint supervision, an academic programme as well as transferable skills training.
Such programs are funded by the Excellence Initiative, the German Research Foundation (DFG), various other foundations as well as the TU Berlin itself.
Details regarding the application procedure can be found on the program webpages.
Both the application as a doctoral candidate and the examination procedure are conducted by the Schools. They are independent of the participation in a program.
Since 2008 joint regulations (PDF, 126,6 KB) apply for all doctoral candidates at the TU Berlin.
