Daniel Guagnin, M.A.

Lupe

Daniel Guagnin was until May 2017 a research associate at the Center for Technology and Society (ZTG). He worked in a number of privacy European research projects on data protetion, privacy, profiling and accountability (PATS, SIAM, Profiling). In his doctoral scholarship he focuses on the construction of expertise in Free/Libre Open Source Communities. He received his Magister degree in sociology from the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität in Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany), he also studied computer science, economics and politics.
Daniel Guagnin supports the Privacy by Design Initiative from the privacy commissioner of Ontario (Canada) and is advisory board member of the Accountability for Cloud project (A4Cloud).
