International training in transferable skills for Doctoral candidates

Call for applications for 1st training session at TU Berlin in the framework of the project mindSET, 13 - 17 January 2020

  • Are you a PhD candidate in the SET subjects?
  • Would you like to qualify in transferable skills?
  • Would you like to network internationally?

Then, you should apply for the 1st mindSET-training week at TU Berlin in January 2020.  

An international group of Doctoral candidates from TU Berlin, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Politecnico di Milano (PoliMi) and Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) will have the opportunity of a joint training combining two transferable skills courses:

The training week is the first session offered in the framework of the Erasmus+ project Training the mindSET – Improving and Internationalizing Skills Trainings for Doctoral Candidates coordinated by TU Berlin in cooperation with its Strategic Partners NTNU. PoliMi and WUT. One of mindSET’s main objectives is to develop a European core curriculum and manual of transferable skills for Doctoral candidates in the SET disciplines.


Further training sessions on various topics will be organized in 2020 and 2021 at the project partner universities. Doctoral candidates from TU Berlin can apply for all training sessions. Grants are available to support the costs for travel and stay at the partner universities.


At TU Berlin, mindSET is coordinated by the Center for Further Scientific Education and Cooperation, the International Projects Section and the TU-DOC Office.
