Berlin has an excellent public transport system including tramways, urban railways, subways, and busses. Consequently, Berlin is the city with the least cars per person in all of Germany. You’ll easily get around, even at night times.

During the Welcome Day, which we organise for the first day of every summer or winter university term at TU Berlin, you will receive your personal BVG public transport ticket which can be used in all above-mentioned transport modes at all times.

Berlin is also great for riding a bike as it has more than 590 km of bike routes. Used bikes can be bought at many places (Facebook, eBay, flea markets etc.), one of many lists can be found here: https://radwelt.berlin/fahrrad-kaufen/gebrauchte-fahrraeder-berlin
