Fees for the TU Berlin Summer University 2020 are as follows:

Special courses in summer are: CanSat Satellite Design, Space Robotics and Introduction to 3D Scanning and Printing.
The course fee for all programs covers both tution and learning materials for a course.
For TU Berlin Summer & Winter University in-presence courses on campus, the price also includes excursions and field trips, the cultural program (incl. orientation session and lunch, entrance fees to museums, sporting activities, farewell reception etc.), a public transportation ticket for Berlin, Wi-Fi access on the TU Berlin Campus and library access. For TU Berlin Summer University Online courses, these do not apply.

Terms and Conditions
Registration, Payment, Early-bird Discounts and Cancellation
Registration: Must be completed online via our registration portal . The registration fee of sixty Euros (€60,00) covers administration and registration costs, and is payable by credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Amex) at the time of registration. Please note that this fee is not refundable. The registration fee is deducted from the overall course fee.
Registration for online courses: Must be completed via our registration portal .
Payment: Candidate students will receive an invoice for the net fee four working days after they have successfully completed registration, once an evaluation of the documents they submitted and their accommodation requests has been processed. Participants must then pay the full fee quoted in the invoice within a maximum of 7 working days of receiving the invoice. Payment can be done via credit card or bank transfer.
Payment for online courses: Payment for summer University online course fees must be made at the time of registration via credit card (visa/mastercard/amex). If you cannot pay via credit card, please let us know using the tick-box in the credit card payment page, and we will send you an invoice for making a bank transfer.
A place in the TU Berlin Summer or Winter University can only be guaranteed if the full fee has been paid on time. Please note that some banks will charge transaction fees for payments that originate outside of the European Union and that credit cards might also charge an additional fee.
Cancellation: The cancellation of a paid course enrollment should be done in writing via email.
The following cancellation fees apply for online courses. Cut-off dates apply until midnight on the date stated:

3 weeks prior
2 weeks prior
1 week prior
In exceptional circumstances, the TU Berlin Summer & Winter University may consider a reduction in the above cancellation fees. In the case of an exceptional circumstance, please contact us immediately in writing (email) and we will see what we can do.
Please note that although tuition fees may be partially reimbursed by the TU Berlin Summer & Winter University due to exceptional circumstances, the costs of hotel rooms or special cultural program activities (such as fee-paying day trips) may not be refundable, due to services being delivered by third parties.
Early bird discounts: An early bird discount of €50 is valid for registrations for online courses made before midnight on the 30th of June 2020. These apply to non-discounted bookings only.
Alumni: Alumni of the TU Berlin or of the TU Berlin Summer & Winter University receive a 20% discount on in-presence courses, and a 10% discount on online courses. You will need to upload your graduation certificate from the TU Berlin, or from the TU Berlin Summer & Winter University, upon registration.
The alumni discount for online courses cannot be used in conjunction with an early bird discount, but replaces it.
Personal information: All your personal information will be protected and will not be passed to third party entities. Personal information will only be used by the TU Berlin Summer & Winter University for statistics and records.
Program management: The TU Berlin Summer & Winter University reserves the right to cancel a course if the minimum number of participants per course is not reached. The minimum number of participants is generally 8 persons (excluding TU Berlin students), but this varies depending on the nature of the course. If the minimum participant numbers are not met, the enrolled students will be notified and given the opportunity to either change course without additional cost, or to get a full reimbursement.
Registration portal: TU Berlin Summer & Winter University will not be held liable for any technical errors in price calculations in the registration portal.

Liability, Cultural Program: The TU Berlin Summer & Winter University / TUBS GmbH will not be held liable for damages that occur while attending the cultural program activities offered. This includes, but is not limited to the orientation/welcome activities, tours, sporting activities, excursions and farewell activities.
