Participants will get introduced to current major themes in innovation and entrepreneurship, including human-centred design and innovation eco-systems. This practical course will guide participants to create new valued products, services or experiences, from idea generation trough to business concept development and testing.
This course is suitable for undergraduate and graduate students as well as professionals from any discipline who wish to develop an entrepreneurial and user-centered mindset in multidisciplinar teams.
Learning Goals & Syllabus
By the end of the course, students will have:

The general prerequisites of the TU Berlin Summer University are the following: at least one year of university experience + English level B2 or equivalent.
Klaus G. Kammermeier
Klaus G. Kammermeier creates and conducts immersive and collaborative learning and innovation experiences. He is a sought- after trainer, mentor, and speaker on innovation, entrepreneurship and digital transformation for organisations, teams, and leaders. He is the founder and managing director of Cyoneer GmbH and InnovationLabs.Berlin, where he is pioneering an evolutionary organisation to successfully build new ventures. Klaus develops new open innovation formats, one of which is NanoLabs®.
For more than 15 years, he led - in technical and commercial leadership positions for Corning Inc. - multi-functional global high-performance teams in the US, Europe, and Asia, to provide groundbreaking innovations. He lived for over 10 years in the UK and in the US and managed and led over 250 innovation initiatives and programs.
Klaus studied Engineering, Economics, and Management at Munich University of Applied Sciences, completed 'Global Leadership 2020' at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, and executive education at Columbia University Business School, New York City, USA. During the last few years, he has coached over 150 founders and startups and supported various research programs including the Fraunhofer Institute. Klaus teaches master students in diverse fields including Space Engineering (TU Berlin), Innovation Management (Grenoble Ecole de Management) and StartupLabs for Creative Industries (SRH Hochschule der populären Künste). He is an expert evaluator for the European Innovation Council, and actively participates in international mentor programs like the Founder Institute.
