TU Berlin's most important goals include ensuring that selection procedures for professorial appointments are conducted on a global level, and, as part of this process, increasing the percentage of professorships occupied by women. Attracting the largest possible, suitably qualified field of applicants is essential to achieving these two goals.
TU Berlin understands active recruitment as conducting systematic searches to identify potential candidates for a professorship within an appointment procedure, as well as the proactive and personal contacting of potential candidates and inviting applications from them on the basis of their qualifications for a position.
