The vice president for administration at Technische Universität Berlin is the head of the Central University Administration.

Department I - Student Services

Student Services combines a number of services for students in all phases of study as well as for prospective students and school students. Its teams include the Office of Student Affairs, Examination Office, Academic Advising Service, and Career Service.

Department II - Human Resources and Legal Affairs

The Department of Human Resources and Legal Affairs provides important information, news, applications, and forms, as well as legal provisions on all personnel matters. The department is also responsible for vocational training, occupational health management, legal affairs, and traveling expenses.

Department III - Finance

The Department of Finance is responsible for not only the traditional areas of finance and budgeting but also cost-performance calculations and human resources management. It is also responsible for management reporting in which it manages and further develops different information systems with the aim of promoting integrative finance and resource management at TU Berlin.

Department IV - Building and Services Management

The Department of Building and Services Management is responsible for the planning, construction, operation, management, and administration of University buildings. Additionally, it can function as the building contractor for construction projects valued over 4 million euros.

Department V - Research and Technology Transfer

The Department of Research and Technology Transfer offers services relating to national and international research support, contract management, the management of external funding, the advancement of junior scholars, and the administration of property rights. It is also the central point of contact for transfer activities, particularly those related to start-ups.

Department VI - International Affairs

The Department of International Affairs is your central point of contact for all international matters. Its four teams - International Scientific Cooperation, Student Mobility & International Students, International Projects, and Preparatory School - ensure all target groups receive the advising and assistance they need.
