Dr. Arman Fathejalali

Arman Fathejalali worked until May 2017 as an scientific researcher at the Center for Technology and Society.
He obtained his Master in "Urban and Regional Planning" by 2011 at Tarbiat Modares University (TMU) in Tehran (Iran). Moreover, he has been working in urban planning consultancies as an urban planner in Tehran for four years. In his master thesis he worked on "Classifying urban land use planning criteria based on energy efficiency approach (The case study of Hashtgerd new town, Iran)". Since 2009, he was involved in an International Research project called "Young Cities-Developing Energy-Efficient Urban Fabric in the Tehran-Karaj Region" funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research as part of the program "Research for Sustainable Development of the Megacities of Tomorrow". He started his PhD at Technical University of Berlin within the framework of YoungCities project and focused on public participation. Also, he was working at the research unit of Mobility and Space, Center for Technology and Society, Technical University of Berlin.
