Dipl. soc. tech. Michael Hahne studied Sociology
of Technology and Computer Science at the TU Berlin and has been
working as a research assistant at the ZTG since 2001. His work is
concerned with the investigation and participatory design of
acceptable socio-technical systems to support and facilitate
communication between organisations as well as with and within the
population. The focus is on inter-organisational crisis communication,
risk communication and participative communication procedures to
identify stakeholder requirements and to mediate in conflict
situations. Mr. Hahne is Assistant Head of the Security - Risk -
Criminology [2] area and Assistant Head of the Human Technology Lab,
which he founded together with Dr. Leon Hempel [3] in 2010. The aim of
the Human Technology Lab is to deepen and expand the cooperation
between social science technology research and the engineering
sciences in the field of technology development.
