Vivian Frick studied social psychology with a minor in political science at the University of Zurich. After her studies she worked at the Institute for Sustainable Development at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) to promote sufficient energy behaviour.
She has been at the ZTG since June 2016 and is writing her doctorate in the Junior Research Group "Between Rebound Risks and Sufficiency Opportunities: Challenges of Decoupling Environmental Consumption and Economic Growth Using the Example of Digitalization of Services", funded by the BMBF.
