Babak Mahmoudi
Babak Mahmoudi has joined Zentrum Technik und Gesellschaft (ZTG) as a trainee since November 2019 and since then has held different positions at ZTG. He received his bachelor's degree in Urban Planning from the Amin Institute of Higher Education in Iran. Subsequently, he studied his master's degree in urban management program at TU Berlin. He did his master thesis on the approach of "Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning" in order to gain more insights on how to address the challenges of urban transport in a sustainable manner. He is passionate about the field of urban mobility, especially regarding the promotion of public transport and active mobility, as well as the improvement of spatial accessibility. He is currently researching on compact and proximity urban development and its impact on the urban transport system.
