Philipp Heine

Philipp Heine is active in the field of public health and physiotherapy. As a formerly practicing physiotherapist, he has a special interest in long term health and lifestyle habits of the general population, with a strong focus on physical activity. As such, he is equipped with a different perspective on the influence of infrastructure accessibilty on lifestyle choices regarding usage of car, bike, public transport, etc.. His experience strengthens the TUB team in interdisciplinary work on the relations between urban transportation and people’s health and wellbeing.He started his work as a student assistant at ZTG in february 2020 and is currently working with Dr. Houshmand Masoumi for the PAYAMOS project (Promotion of Physical Activity of the Youth through Active Mobility to School).
