Therese Kienemund

Therese Kienemund worked from December 2017 until November 2018 as a student assistant at the ZTG in the area Science Studies in the Project "InRes – Independence of Research".

After completing her B.A. with a double major in Biology and Gender Studies modified with African and African-American Studies, she took on a Teaching Science Fellowship at Dartmouth College, USA, where she was a member of a teaching team for cell biology as well as genetics courses and mentored STEM students.

2016 she returned to Germany and delayed her academic career for a year of traveling and work experience in project management and marketing. Now Therese is working towards her M.A. in History and Culture of Science and Technology at TU Berlin. Her main area of interest is the history of genetics.
