Maryam Kohansal Nodehi

Lupe

Maryam Kohansal Nodehi has studied architecture at the Islamic Azad University (IAU) Central Tehran Branch, Tehran, Iran up to Master degree.

From 2004 to 2011 she has worked at ‘Memararsh’ Engineering Consultants, Tehran, Iran. There, she worked as an assistant planner in urban projects focusing on upgrading and community enabling programs funded by the World Bank.

Besides working in area of praxis, she has worked as part-time lecturer at Islamic Azad University (IAU) South Tehran Branch and as a full-time researcher of Cultural Research Bureau (CRB), Tehran, Iran since 2006 and 2011 respectively.

In 2011, she has awarded a DAAD research scholarship within the ‘Young Cities’ project of BMBF research program of ‘Future Megacities’.

Currently, she is doing her doctoral research on the topic of ‘Planning as a Societal Activity’ in the field of Urban and Regional Planning at Technical University of Berlin, Germany. Also, she is working at the research unit of ‘Participation, Mobility and Space’, ‘Center for Technology and Society (CTS)’, Technical University of Berlin.
