Laila Kroker, M.L.B.

Research Associate

Since August 2010, she is Research Associate at the Center for Technology and Society. Laila Kroker is active in the development and proposal writing of projects in the department Security-Risk-Privacy and supports individual projects; she researches legal, criminological and economical issues and translates German-English scientific articles. Among other things she considers data protection instruments in the project MyID Privat, the concept of "mutual recognition" between European member states as well as the resilience of urban areas.

Before this, Laila Kroker worked in the Governance and International Communication department of the Zeit Foundation Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius, Hamburg, where she supported the organization and carrying-out of an international conference regarding Global Governance issues as well as in the law office Nogossek, Cologne, specialized in immigration and medicine law.
